Calcined petroleum coke
It is obtained by heating raw petroleum coke at temperatures up to 1400°C. CPC has high conductivity and low specific resistance and is widely used in aluminum anodes, graphite electrodes and other carbon consuming industries.
It can increase the carbon content in steelmaking and casting processes and can also increase the amount of scrap steel, reduce the amount of pig iron, or eliminate scrap iron altogether. It can also be used in brake pedals and friction materials.
